Russell Payne, summer intern, interviews teens in detention
Our summer intern, Russell Payne, spent some time in June interviewing 25 juveniles in detention in Chihuahua and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He shared some of his impressions with us. Special thanks to the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association for funding Russell’s internship!

Chihuahua Vision Trip – Blake Murdock and Tamara Thompson
Vision Trip – Juarez and Chihuahua, Mexico.
This past week Tamara Thompson and Blake Murdock joined us for our first-ever Vision Trip. Vision Trips give people a first-hand look at our work with juveniles in Mexico’s prison system. We visited the juvenile prisons in Juarez and Chihuahua cities and met with court officials to discuss our proposed projects in Chihuahua. Blake and Tammi will be sharing their experiences with us soon!
